One of the fastest ways to get what you want is to act as if you are already living the change you desire. Acting as if is a way of modeling the thoughts, beliefs, actions and reactions of someone living the change you desire.
Can you remember a time when you walked into a room and immediately knew if someone was happy, mad, irritated, tired, or excited? How did you know what kind of mood they were in? Weren’t they acting as if they were in that mood?
Perhaps you want to be happier. How would you act as if you were happy? Would you take on the posture of a happy person? Would you take on the facial expressions of a happy person? Would you talk like a happy person, excited and upbeat? Would you be thinking like a happy person, focused on something from the past, present or future that evokes a happy feeling?
What would you like to change or manifest in your life that hasn’t happened yet? How can you start acting as if you are already living that change?
What does a person who weighs what you desire eat?
What do they believe about food?
How do they plan their meals?
What foods do they shop for?
How much do they eat throughout the day?
How do they feel throughout the day?
I think you get the idea. Just think about the weight you desire to be and start acting as if you are already there.
What do financially successful people believe?
How do they act?
What do they talk about?
How do they manage money?
How do they feel about money?
What are their money habits?
Apply this strategy to any area of your life where you desire a change. Begin today to start acting as if you have already achieved your desire.
