Written goals are so important, so here is a list of questions to help you get started. Be sure to write down everything and anything that comes to mind even if it seems impossible or currently out of reach.

If you are interested in changing careers:

Would you like to own your own business?

Would you prefer to work for someone?

What kind of work schedule would you like to have?

What is the amount of income you want to have?

If you like your job or profession:

What needs to change in order to have greater job satisfaction?

What impact do you want to have?

What new skills would benefit you and your profession?


How much money would you like to make annually?

How much money do you want to have when you retire?

What investment strategies do you want to have?

How much income do you want to delegate for fun and adventure?

Create a list of passive income ideas.


What do you want to be, do and have?

What emotions would you like to experience more often?

What traits would you like to adopt?

What contributions do you want to make?

What personal comforts would you like to experience?

How would you like to simplify your life?

How much personal time would you like to have each day?

Describe your ideal day in detail.


If you are looking for a new relationship:

Describe your ideal mate.

Describe the activities that you will be doing.

Describe the feelings and emotions you want to experience.

If you are looking to enhance your current relationship:

What would you like to experience more of?

What would you like to see less of?


How do you want to grow spiritually?

What needs to happen in order to experience more inner peace?

How often would you like to meditate, journal, or spend time alone?


List the people you would like to meet.

What reputation do you want to have with family and friends?

How do you want to be remembered by others?


What changes would you like to make to your physical body?

How often and for how long would you like to exercise each week?

What foods would you like to add to your diet?

What foods or drinks would you like to eliminate?

What chronic health problems need to be addressed?


What impact do you want to have on your community?

What groups or organizations would you like to join?

What special talents do you have to offer your community?


Would you like to have a new home? Describe it in detail.

What changes would you like to make to your present home?

What luxuries would you like to have in your home?


What types of lessons would you like to take?

What books would you like to read?

What skills would you like to have or improve?

What seminars or workshops would you like to attend?


Where would you like to travel?

What famous restaurants or hotels do you want to visit?

Describe your ideal vacation in detail.


List the adventures you would like to have.

With whom do you want to experience these adventures?


What toys or luxuries would you like to have in your life?

What collectibles would you like to collect?

Excellent! When you have your general list finished, it is time to narrow it down to one or two goals to focus on. Take that next step here.
