If there is a goal or desire in your life that you haven‘t been able to achieve, there can be a part of you that doesn’t feel safe achieving your goal.
Perhaps you want to lose weight, but nothing you try seems to create lasting results. Maybe you want to make more money or change jobs, but nothing changes.
No matter how uncomfortable you are with your present situation, part of you may still feel safer with it than without it. Part of you may feel more comfortable being overweight or experiencing less money. Odd as that may seem, we all have a comfort level or a set-point that our unconscious mind like to maintain, especially if we have failed in the past, or have been hurt somehow.
There may be other reasons besides safety that are keeping you stuck, but it is worth exploring to see if feeling unsafe is holding you back. It is necessary to have all parts of you aligned with feeling safe in order for things to change.
